The question usually isn't if we can help, but will we help? Do you find yourself sometimes through life seeing others in need and just passing by? Not being cold or compassionless, but just passing by. Just observing them in their situation. It may be something simple like someone putting heavy groceries in their car trunk or a neighbor in need of help at their home, someone in need of a listening ear, or perhaps a phone call!

Have you said, "I could help... but, I wasn't asked it's not my business, I shouldn't get involved, I'm not that experienced, I'm afraid, or the most common answer, someone else will help!!"

When it comes to the servant spirit of how God would like for us to respond to spiritual things in life, what is his instruction to us? Could we help carry someone's burden on this earth while seeking God for guidance? How about our prayer life for someone, especially when we say to them, we will be praying for you? Do we always pray as we have promised? Even, just one prayer?

What about praying with them, could we?

Does God have a detour ahead for you?

Has God not prepared us through our life to intercede in certain situations in order to help someone at that moment? The Lord is always interceding for us, for our whole life! Is this not the plan for us to intercede with him for others?

The awesome victories and challenging struggles we all have experienced through our life is what God has molded us into as we walk on our journey. These things are what we are made of and have knowledge of; it is us, who we are, as God has orchestrated our walk with him.

I don't believe that our life testimony is for us alone, but to help others in many ways. By these divine experiences it is how we can help others; because we have endured, we understand. We can relate to theirs because our Savior has walked us through ours.

Many of you are giving someone help each day and I praise God for your devoted spirit and servant faith. It is that faith that shines a light from our Lord and Savior into all who witness your love toward them.

Whether it's a relative, friend, neighbor or stranger, as the Lord leads lets us all think of this; God has prepared us for this moment, for this person at this time and I know that: I Could, Help!! Or, should we say, "I Will Help!!"

Matthew 25:31-46

31 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.

32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.

33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 for I was hungry, and you gave Me food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;

36 I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.'

37 Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?

38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?

39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?'

40 And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'

41 Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 for I was hungry, and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me no drink;

43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.'

44 Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?'

45 Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.'

46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

I Could, Help!
