While we are going about our daily lives there are many spiritual things happening all around us. Let’s start with prayer. How many of us really realize just how many prayers are being lifted to God on our behalf each day or even each hour?
Prayers coming from family, friends or even people we don’t even know, but they are aware of our situation. Yes, there are people that have knowledge of each of our daily struggles that are praying for us in their home or at work. Praying on their knees calling out to God on our behalf.
Do you know that there is a war going on around us between angels and demons that we are unaware of because we cannot see them in our physical world?
These wars are fought for us in order to prevent a constant attack through our walk with God. These are things we don’t understand completely but God has our back. He is always aware of our struggles.
If we only knew the countless unknown actions by others that are interceding for us, would it change your walk and your concern for others? It may be a person crying beside a bedside or our father in heaven.
Can you imagine someone petitioning our Savior to stand in our place so we can receive rest and peace? Or, someone walking with us on that road, calling out for us and asking for an answer through God’s grace, which is endless and abundant. That self-sacrifice and servant spirit is humbling.
So, the next time you hear of a spiritual need by someone, anyone! Picture others, known and unknown standing all around you praying, lifting their hands up to God to minister to your heart and heal your situation, just for you!
Now, lift up a prayer, call out to God, cry for an answer or ask to stand in the gap for them, God is always listening. Today, take a moment and imagine,
